LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS SEC

Liquefied gas tanks are regulated by the Superintendence of Electricity and Fuels (SEC). STI S.A. is a company that has INN accreditations and authorized by SEC in force for the certification of the following types of tanks:

GLP TRANSPORTATION

Transportation tanks must be certified at the manufacturing stage and subject to periodic inspections every 5 years. The standard manufacturing design is ASME VIII Division 1 and DOT 331

GLP STORAGE

Storage tanks must also be certified at the manufacturing stage and subject to periodic inspections. The design standard of manufacture is ASME VIII Division 1 or possibly Division 2.
